Axminster Guildhall
Axminster Guildhall is a lovely character venue which is easy to find in the small East Devon town of Axminster, and is a real gem of a venue for dancing.
It has a large wooden dance floor, lots of sociable seating, and a large free car park just opposite the main road.
There is also a licensed bar (for freestyles) so please don't bring your own drinks.
The use of talcum powder etc on the dance floor is prohibited.

Weekly LeRoc dance classes are held at Axminster Guildhall on Wednesday evenings. The classes are relaxed and have a nice friendly atmosphere. There is no licensed bar so please feel free to bring your own refreshments. Squash and water are free.
Complete beginners are welcome to simply turn up on any Wednesday evening, ready for 8pm. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and social practice / freestyle dancing.

Our monthly freestyles feature a lively mixture of great tunes for dancing, and in the last half-hour(ish) the music becomes slightly slower tempo blues, swing, latin, soul etc.
Regularly attracting a large number of dancers, this has to be one of the friendliest freestyle dances in the South West. Always a lively party atmosphere, and recent beginners are welcome to join in the fun!
