About Dorchester Corn Exchange
Dorchester's premier venue features a main hall with a large sprung wooden dance floor, coloured dance floor lighting, good acoustics, lots of sociable seating, a licensed bar, and nearby on-road parking and car parks.
The Corn Exchange dates from the mid-nineteenth century and has plenty of character which adds to the dancing experience!
The use of talcum powder etc on the dance floor is prohibited.

Weekly Leroc dance classes are held at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday evenings. There is a licensed bar and a good-sized wooden dance floor. Friendly atmosphere too!
Complete beginners are welcome to simply turn up on any Tuesday evening, with or without a partner, ready for 8pm. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and social practice / freestyle dancing.
The class also attracts dancers from Weymouth, Bridport, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Blandford Forum, Beaminster and Isle of Portland.
