About Westlands
Westlands is a modern entertainment venue that has recently undergone a massive £2M refurbishment. It boasts a magnificent ballroom with a huge sprung wooden dance floor which is one the best you'll find in the South West of England.
It's complemented by a fantastic sound and lighting system that really enhances the dancing experience. There's also plenty of comfortable sociable seating and a huge FREE car park. This venue ticks all the boxes! ☑ ☑ ☑
There is also a licensed bar so please don't bring your own drinks.
The use of talcum powder etc on the dance floor is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

The next four sessions are shown above, all running normally unless otherwise stated.
Weekly LeRoc dance classes are held at Westlands on Tuesday evenings. The classes are held in the Wheeldon Suite (just next to the main bar area), which has air conditioning and a good-sized dance floor, and a nice friendly 'club'-type atmosphere.
Complete beginners are welcome to simply turn up on any Tuesday evening. The cost of admission covers the whole session, including all classes, beginner coaching and social practice / freestyle dancing.

This is one of the largest and liveliest freestyles for miles around, with a friendly and exciting party atmosphere. Recent beginners are welcome to join in the fun!
Our freestyles attract dancers from nearby Sherborne, Crewkerne, Somerton, Wincanton, Martock, Langport, Wincanton, Sturminster Newton, Gillingham & Shaftesbury. Also from further afield, ie Bristol, Plymouth, Exeter, Bournemouth etc.
